Howdy, friends! A heads-up that Sean will be out of pocket for our show at The Cottage Irish Pub on Sunday, October 4th — he’s off walking Scotland’s West Highland Way, a fine 96 miles of it, with two of the usual suspects in tow. The auld country calls and who are we to say no?
But the show, bless it, goes on: Blair & Klaus will be holding the fort as a duo — the same arrangement that kept September’s show humming while Sean was away. Come on by, give those two a good word, and see what shenanigans they get up to without supervision.
Same as ever: Sunday, October 4th, 5–8 PM, The Cottage Irish Pub, 3810 Broadway. Free as always, and there’s talk of a song request or two being taken in Sean’s absence — the queue will be up and running.
Sean will be back mid-October with tales, blisters, and ( knowing him) a melody or two picked up in the glens. Fair warning: he may attempt a Scottish tune with an unfamiliar accent.
